When I was asked to write for the group, I did not know what reaction to take. I was flattered, yes, and happy, because somehow, connection was still alive despite the absence brought about by the miles. I had a dilemma because, in the first place, I did not know what to write about. Until I got a thought.
Journeys, Travels, Mileages, Transfers… these things have been what my existence has been about.
People have been wondering why I can’t have my feet stay put in the ground for a time. I always seek for adventures, new experiences, and new acquaintances. I have always had this sense of happiness just going around, and indeed, I know I was fortunate to have been able to go around.
We often think that life is a journey. Well, to me, journey is my life.
My fate and faith have brought my feet to different places and feel differences between people’s lives. It has shown me a variation of views and perceptions that have enabled me to go on with my being despite.
In the short years that have passed me, I have gone through a lot of Ups and Downs, experiences that have cultivated and nurtured me, but more importantly, made myself look down deeper to who I really am, and perhaps what I want.
Today, I begin a new part of my life by sharing and imparting the small things that went through me, some good, some, not so good but have contributed to where I am now. I am taking new ride through this column and in the future, you, my dear readers will be riding with me as we go on touching and keeping lives during this short trip.
